**1 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar or white pickling vinegar
Instructions
• Combine the ingredients in a pint-size jar, then pour the Vinegar over the top, leaving one inch of headroom.
• Cover the jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake it vigorously.
• Store the jar in a cold, dark area, like a pantry, and shake it every day.
• Keep doing this for two to four weeks.
• After that, strain the liquid to separate the solids. To achieve this, set a fine mesh strainer over a big measuring cup.
• The digestive bitters are the liquid that was strained.
• Pour the digestive bitters into a bottle that is amber in color and has a tight-fitting lid.
The cupboard or the refrigerator are good places to keep digestive bitters. They'll continue to function at their best for at least a year.
• You can either put 1/4 teaspoon of digestive bitters on a spoon and set it on your tongue, or you can combine it with a little bit of water that is at room temperature and drink it. If you experience indigestion, do this both before and after a large meal.
