EASY TURKEY BURGER

Ingredients:

1-pound lean ground turkey

 1/4 cup red or white onion, minced

 1 teaspoons salt

 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

 1 teaspoon cumin 1/4 cup packed, fresh basil, chopped

 1/4 cup packed, fresh parsley, chopped

 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

 Lettuce wraps Your choice of toppings, including tomato, avocado, red onion, and pickles

 

Directions:

In a large bowl add the ground turkey meat, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, cumin, basil, and parsley. Mix and combine well with hands. Form into 4-5 turkey patties by making them into a circle and then flattening them with your hands.

In a medium saucepan heat the olive oil on medium-high and

immediately add the patties. Cook for 5 minutes on each side. Serve on

lettuce wraps with toppings of your choice (tomato, avocado, red onion, and pickles).
